Following our recent success in receiving the Science award, Hodge Clough is now working towards achieving the Investors in Pupils (IIP) award.

What is IIP

Investors in Pupils works to involve pupils in decision making, responsibility and leadership in five key areas; learning, behaviour, attendance, school management, classroom management and individual targets within school.

Children learn how school 'works' and how they can contribute towards it’s smooth running  by using peer teamwork and also working with the adults around school.

They get the chance to find out about the roles of the staff and also interview them.

We hope to achieve the award by the summer.
