Attendance

During this time please follow government guidance regarding COVID including not attending school if your child is unwell and has any symptoms which are a temperature, a new or continuous cough or loss of taste and smell. If you have symptoms you must book a test and inform school of the outcome.

The safety of our pupils is our priority. Please ensure school is aware of where your child is each day if they are absent. School will ring home, write letters and visit your home address if concerns are raised.

We work closely with the Local Authority Attendance service and Public Health Oldham to ensure that the pupils at Hodge Clough have minimal attendance issues. We follow the attendance statutory expectations and guidelines set by the government and the local authority. We provide support and guidance for staff and parents to ensure these are met.

If you feel you need some additional support or advice  in improving your child's attendance, please contact Ruth Lomas Attendance Officer who will be happy to help.
